Benefits:
- Wafer check valves offer a small footprint, as it is installed between two flanges.
- Best suited for larger pipe sizes i.e. greater than DN50 2”.
Limitations:
- Reduced Bore
- A spacer may be required to allow opening
Installation information:
- When selecting a wafer check valve it is important to consider the flanges and the CV value as opening or orifice is smaller than the pipe so may require spacer plates and consideration when selecting flanges as typically installed between either DIN or ANSI flanges.
